The Irish Jewelry Company stands behind our customers. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee behind our service and products. If for any reason, you or your gift recipient is not completely satisfied with your gift, we'll exchange it or issue a store credit for the comparable value within 14 days from date of order. If your item is damaged or incorrect we will refund the credit card used for purchase if reported to Customer Care within one week of delivery.

Return Policy...
 We are delighted to offer a full refund or exchange within 14 days from the date of purchase. (This means you must contact customer care within 14 days from your date of purchase to receive a Return Authorization Number.) All returned items must be in their original condition.
*Shipping charges are non refundable.*
An RA number must be requested with 14 days from the date of purchase. Thereafter, all sales are final.

Item(s) returned without an RA number from customer care will either be returned to sender or subject to a 30% restocking charge with a store credit refund only if the package is opened by us inadvertently.
All items must be returned in "as new" condition. All returns must be received by The Irish Jewelry Company within 10 days from the issuing date of the RA number otherwise the package will be returned to sender or subject to a 30% restocking fee and a store credit refund only if the package is opened inadvertently by The Irish Jewelry Company. The restocking fee and store credit is not a penalty but a way to offset the costs involved with the time and labor it takes to investigate an unauthorized return.

Exchanges...
We are happy to exchange an Irish gift with another selection, or issue a store credit within 14 days of purchase as well.  (This means you must contact customer care within 14 days from your date of purchase to receive a Return Authorization Number for an exchange.)
 Normal time to process your return is 10-14 days upon receipt of the returned package. Packages sent to The Irish Jewelry Company without an RA# clearly written on the package will not be accepted and will be returned to sender. If they are opened by The Irish Jewelry Company inadvertently, the return will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and a store credit only will be issued.

Clearance Items and Special Orders...
 Please note all, Clearance items, gift cards, gift boxes, personalized Irish inspired gifts, turf products, books, opened CD's, bath products and special orders are non-refundable and are final sale or subject to store credit only.  
High value orders (orders over $650.00 are deemed high value by UPS) are subject to a 30% restocking fee upon return. All high quantity orders (orders exceeding 10 items or more) or corporate gift orders of high quantity are subject to a 30% restocking fee upon return.

Returned In New Condition....
All products including jewelry, bridal, Communion veils, gloves, purses, ties, leather, woolen, tiaras and linen products must be returned in NEW condition and with all tags and or packaging in tack like the item was originally sent and fit for resale. Any products including bridal, veils, gloves, purses, ties, tiaras, leather, woolen or linen items received worn, damaged, damaged in return shipping or without its original tags and packaging not fit for resale will be subject to a 50% restocking charge and issued a store credit only.
Jewelry must be returned in its original NEW condition. Any visible signs of wear including and not limited to scuffing, scratching, dulling of the finish or tarnishing makes the item unsalable.

Damages and Defects....
Orders received damaged or incorrect will be exchanged for the same item only.
Orders received damaged and or incorrect must be reported to Customer Care via email within 5 days of delivery. Maximum shipping credit for returns on items received damaged or incorrect items cannot exceed original shipping charge. WE WILL NOT CREDIT SHIPPING COSTS THAT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL ORDER'S SHIPPING CHARGES: DO NOT SEND YOUR RETURN VIA AN EXPRESS SERVICE. YOUR PACKAGING FEES ARE NOT REIMBURSABLE. Gift box or gift wrap charges are non refundable and we cannot accept them as a return.
Claims for defective items must be made within 30 days upon receipt of goods. Normal wear and accidental damage is not considered a defect. Our quality control is very strict. Items are not shipped tarnished unless the item description states that the item has an antique or patina finish. Items that tarnish during wear are not considered damaged or defective.

Causes of Tarnishing...
If a person has a natural high acidity level in his/her skin, it is possible for his/her finger to "turn green" from silver or gold jewelry, or for silver jewelry to blacken especially when the weather is hot and humid. The green is actually caused by oxidation, and all silver will oxidize (it's also what gives silver a tarnished look). There are some costume jewelry items that cause the same effect. Most of them contain nickel. It's not poisonous in small quantities but it can provoke a reaction in people allergic to nickel.  This "green finger effect" and the tarnishing of silver may also be an allergic reaction to alloy elements in sterling silver or gold. In some cases, the alloys, used to make jewelry more durable, may react with your body chemistry, chemicals in the air and household chemicals such as soap, salt and sun tan lotion causing a harmless green or black discoloration on the skin, which can be easily removed with soap and water, silver cleaner  or with a polish cloth. For this reason, most retail silver jewelry and white gold jewelry is plated with rhodium, which serves as a defensive layer and prevents this reaction from happening to anyone with allergy.

Claims of Non Receipt or Lost Packages.....
All UPS tracking numbers are emailed automatically immediately upon shipping. Claims of lost packages or non receipt of package must be made within 2-3 weeks from date of shipping. All packages are shipped Insured and will be immediately replaced by IJC upon notification. IJC is not liable and cannot issue a refund for lost or non receipt of package claims made three or more weeks after UPS has confirmed delivery.   

Christmas Gifts and Purchases....
Our Christmas extended return policy means all gifts purchased between November 22nd and December 24th can be returned or exchanged up until or by January 7th. After January 7th all sales are final. We will not accept any Christmas returns or exchanges on purchases made between November 22nd and December 24th after January 7th. PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA PROCESSING TIME FOR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES DURING ALL HOLIDAY SEASONS.

How to make an exchange or return.....
Simply repack the item in its original packaging with a copy of the packing slip and contact customer service at http://theirishjewelrycompany.zendesk.com or email at support@theirishjewelrycompany.zendesk.com. A customer service representative will respond to your request within 24- 48 hours via email and they will give you a return authorization number or RA number. Note that during the holidays this process will require extra processing time. When we receive the product back a credit or exchange depending on the situation will be made.
 
• All returns must be received by The Irish Jewelry Company within 10 days from the issuing date of the RA number or they will not be accepted.

For your own protection when returning product we advise that you return your purchase to us via an insured courier such as USPS Parcel Post. Visit www.USPS.com to print your mailing label and to request free carrier pick up. Please retain a copy of your original receipt for your records. The Irish Jewelry Company will not be held responsible for any items damaged or lost in transit. Any return package received unsealed, opened or damage will not be accepted and returned to sender. The customer assumes responsibility for insuring the return shipment and filing the claim for lost or damaged returns. Shipping and packaging costs are non refundable.

Order Information....
Weekend Orders: All orders placed after 9 a.m. on Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and shipped on Monday.

All orders must be placed by 9 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday to be sent out that day. This time will change during the summer and the holidays.

Gift Card Information...
Gift Card Shipping: All of our Gift Cards are shipped free of charge using USPS First Class delivery. Express ships are an additional charge. International shipments and shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require an additional shipping costs and business days for delivery.
• Gift cards are available in several denominations. Our gift cards are plastic and come in a white envelope wrapped in our signature style. A simple emerald green satin ribbon and sealed with our label. It also comes with an all occasion card in which you can have a personal message written. All cards are shipped free. They are mailed through the US Postal Service unless ordered with other items then they will be enclosed in the same box that the rest of the order is shipped in.
• To redeem a gift card simply enter in the card number in the promo code area when checking out. The gift card number is located on the front the card in the upper left corner.
• Please note the total card value must be redeemed all at once. Remaining cards values cannot and will not be carried over. All gift cards expire within one year from the date of purchase. Cards values remain the same and do not decrease until the card expires.
Pricing information: Please note that due to the soaring price of fuel and the fluctuating price of precious metals (brass, silver, copper and gold) our products prices are subject to change at any time without notice. We do not offer price adjustments.

Notice: All children, especially those under 3 years of age need close adult supervision when wearing any type of jewelry since jewelry often contains small parts. We can not be held responsible for allergic reactions to various metals used in jewelry or various gifts containing various metals.
